Arizona High School Soccer - Dobson overwhelmed by West Point
January 16, 2023: Avondale, AZ 85392 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) and the visiting Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ), saw West Point's soccer squad triumph over Dobson by a margin of 7-0.
The Dragons now sport a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tolleson for a 6A West Valley test on Wednesday, January 18. West Point will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Dobson drops to 0-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Mountain View (Mesa, AZ) to meet the Toros in a 6A East Valley test on Wednesday, January 18. The Toros come into the test with a record of 6-3. Mountain View 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)
