January 16, 2024: Fair Haven, MI 48023

Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), 56-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Cousino upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Patriots host Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Lakeview won 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI)

Next up, the Tars play the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) in a Macomb Area - Blue bout, on Thursday, January 18. Anchor Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 63-31 league win over Fraser (Fraser, MI).
