Ohio High School Basketball - Buckeye Local ripped by Shadyside
January 16, 2024: Shadyside, OH 43947 The Shadyside Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers to 45 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the victory, Shadyside upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host River (Hannibal, OH) to play the Pilots in a Ohio Valley AA bout on Saturday, January 20. The Pilots come into the bout with a record of 7-3. River lost 46-35 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH)
Next up, the Panthers play the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) in a Buckeye 8 bout, on Saturday, January 20. Buckeye Local will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Jets come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 70-43 non-league win over Cambridge (Cambridge, OH).
