January 16, 2024: Houston, TX 77070 Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX), 57-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Cypress Creek upgrades its record to 16-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Stratford (Houston, TX) to clash with the Spartans in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 19. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-14. Stratford lost 69-49 in their recent league bout against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Northbrook Raiders (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, January 19. Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 8-18 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-19 record after their 70-24 league loss to Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX).
