Georgia High School Basketball - Emanuel County Institute nudges Savannah Classical Academy
January 16, 2024: Twin City, GA 30471 In Tuesday's league outing, the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA), by a margin of 73-70.
The Bulldogs (1-12) will now prepare for their outing against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Eagles go into the A D2 Region 3 outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Montgomery County was tipped by Jenkins County (Millen, GA), 68-50, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Colleton Prep Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 18. Savannah Classical Academy will clash with a War Hawks squad coming off a 54-46 league loss to Thomas Heyward Academy (Ridgeland, SC). The War Hawks record now stands at 3-14.
