Washington High School Basketball - Hermiston tops Kennewick
January 16, 2024: Kennewick, WA 99336 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA) and the host Kennewick Lions (Kennewick, WA), saw Hermiston's basketball squad knock off Kennewick by a count of 68-57.
With the victory, Hermiston upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA) to play the Blue Devils in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Friday, January 19. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Walla Walla won 72-60 in their recent league challenge against Hanford (Richland, WA)
Next up, the Lions play the Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge, on Friday, January 19. Kennewick will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Riverhawks come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 75-51 league loss to Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA).
