The McDonough Warhawks basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Stockbridge Tigers to 59 in the Warhawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warhawks now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland for a AAAA Region 5 contest on Wednesday, January 17. McDonough will meet a Wolfpack team coming off a 51-42 league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 11-6.
