Iowa High School Basketball - Osage holds off St. Ansgar
January 16, 2024: Osage, IA 50461 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) and the visiting St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), saw Osage's basketball squad hold off St. Ansgar by a tally of 53-51.
With the victory, Osage improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Green Devils travel to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a North Iowa challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Lake Mills won 78-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA)
Next up, the Saints confront the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a Corn Bowl challenge, on Friday, January 19. St. Ansgar will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 47-29 non-league loss to Central Springs (Manly, IA).
