January 16, 2024: Shiocton, WI 54170 The Shiocton Chiefs basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers to 49 in the Chiefs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst for a Central Wisconsin - East contest on Friday, January 19. Shiocton will meet a Falcons team coming off a 62-41 league loss to Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 5-9.
The Chargers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Bears enter the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Bonduel nudged Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI), 76-54, in a league contest.
