Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) and the host Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), saw Aquinas's basketball squad hold off Twin River by a tally of 54-47.

With the victory, Aquinas improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE) to confront the Bluehawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bluehawks come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. St. Cecilia won 42-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Superior (Superior, NE)
