Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), 58-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Howells-Dodge upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host North Bend Central (North Bend, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 13-8. North Bend Central won 47-25 in their recent non-league bout against Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE)

Next up, the Titans play the Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE) in a C2 District 5 bout, on Thursday, February 8. Twin River will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 58-29 non-league loss to Crofton (Crofton, NE).
