Nebraska High School Basketball - Stanton tops Howells-Dodge
February 1, 2024: Howells, NE 68614 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Stanton Mustangs (Stanton, NE) and the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE), saw Stanton's basketball squad knock off Howells-Dodge by a tally of 57-47.
With the victory, Stanton improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Winside (Winside, NE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-16. Winside lost 46-28 in their recent league challenge against Wausa (Wausa, NE)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Howells-Dodge will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 58-41 non-league win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE).
