In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Clarkson/Leigh Patriots basketball team scored a good 50-34 triumph over the Howells-Dodge Jaguars.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 19. Clarkson/Leigh will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 38-27 league loss to David City (David City, NE).

With the defeat, Howells-Dodge moves to 4-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to St. Francis (Humphrey, NE) to meet the Flyers in a D2 District 6 match on Friday, January 5. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 5-1.
