January 16, 2024: El Paso, TX 79912 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX), saw Franklin's basketball squad wallop Socorro by a tally of 57-30.
With the victory, Franklin improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Montwood (El Paso, TX) to confront the Rams in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 14-11. Montwood won 53-39 in their recent league challenge against Socorro (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Socorro will attempt to improve on its 6-19 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-16 record after their 59-27 league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX).
