Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), saw Grassfield's basketball squad hold off Indian River by a tally of 51-47.

With the victory, Grassfield improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Tigers in a Southeastern challenge on Friday, January 19. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Oscar Smith won 60-31 in their recent league challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
