In Tuesday's league outing, the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions (Avondale, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ), by a margin of 57-8.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ). The Crimson Knights go into the 2A West outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Trivium Prep was trounced by Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 59-29, in a non-league outing.
