Texas High School Basketball - Whitney ripped by Keene
January 16, 2024: Whitney, TX 76692 The Keene Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Whitney Wildcats to 37 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 19. Keene will battle a Trojans team coming off a 32-17 league win over Clifton (Clifton, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 23-1.
The Wildcats (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras enter the 3A Region III District 17 contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, Grandview was routed by Maypearl (Maypearl, TX), 54-49, in a league contest.
