The Tikigaq Harpooners basketball team (Point Hope, AK), was overwhelmed 58-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK)

The Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain City Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 17. West Anchorage will confront a Lions team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.

The Harpooners (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Mountain City Christian Academy trounced West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 72-51, in a non-league battle.
