California High School Basketball - Scripps Ranch tops Hoover
January 16, 2024: San Diego, CA 92131 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA), saw Scripps Ranch's basketball squad knock off Hoover by a count of 80-68.
With the victory, Scripps Ranch upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA) to play the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Mira Mesa lost 61-49 in their recent league challenge against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 19. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Islanders come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 64-50 league loss to University City (San Diego, CA).
