New York High School Basketball - Bolivar-Richburg bests Cuba-Rushford
January 16, 2025: Bolivar, NY 14715 The Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Cuba-Rushford Rebels to 28 in the Wolverines league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wellsville for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Bolivar-Richburg will confront a Lions team coming off a 63-57 non-league win over Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Lions record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Cuba-Rushford falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Rebels host Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 5-1. Canisteo-Greenwood won 48-30 in their recent non-league game against Jasper-Troupsburg (Jasper, NY)
