The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) and the host Penncrest Lions (Media, PA), observed Garnet Valley's basketball team edge Penncrest by a margin of 32-29.

The Jaguars (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Radnor (Radnor, PA). The Raptors come into the Central challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Radnor edged Ridley (Folsom, PA), 55-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Penncrest will attempt to better on its 14-1 season record.
