In Friday's league contest, the visiting Penncrest Lions basketball team scored a good 65-52 triumph over the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers.

The Lions (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber (Philadelphia, PA). The Rockets go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
