January 16, 2025: Georgetown, LA 71432 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA) and the visiting Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA), observed Georgetown's basketball team knock off Saline by a score of 72-52.
The Bulldogs (19-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sicily Island (Sicily Island, LA). The Tigers come into the C District 2 challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Calvin Cougars (Calvin, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Saline will attempt to improve on its 10-19 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 8-17 record after their 66-21 non-league win over Downsville (Downsville, LA).
