California High School Basketball - Monarch trounced by High Tech NC
January 16, 2025: San Marcos, CA 92078 High Tech NC Raptor (San Marcos, CA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Monarch Royals (San Diego, CA), 76-28 in a league match.
With the victory, High Tech NC advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Raptor host Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA) to meet the Redhawks in a Summit match on Friday, January 17. The Redhawks enter the match with a record of 4-3.
The Royals now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to High Tech Mesa for a Summit match on Tuesday, January 21. Monarch will meet a Thunder squad coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 9-5.
