Arkansas High School Basketball - Marked Tree crushes Hillcrest
January 16, 2025: Marked Tree, AR 72365 The Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Hillcrest Screamin Eagles (Strawberry, AR), 66-37 in Thursday's league bout.
The Indians now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgefield Christian for a 1A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 17. Marked Tree will play a Warriors team coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Corning (Corning, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 11-13.
With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Screamin eagles host Maynard (Maynard, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-19.
