Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL), 66-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mitchell advances its record to 9-9 on the year. The Mustangs host Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 13-5. Wesley Chapel lost 63-59 in their recent non-league match against Jesuit (Tampa, FL)

The Hurricanes now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bayshore Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18.
