The Plattsmouth Blue Devils (Plattsmouth, NE) basketball edged the visiting Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE), 49-43 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Beatrice for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Plattsmouth will play a Orangemen team coming off a 50-35 non-league loss to Seward (Seward, NE). The Orangemen record now stands at 2-8.
