The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE) and the visiting Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE), observed Ralston's basketball team knock off Nebraska City by a score of 61-52.

The Rams (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Conestoga (Murray, NE). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Conestoga dropped by Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE), 50-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers encounter the Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Nebraska City will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 73-37 non-league loss to Maryville (Maryville, MO).
