The Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) basketball edged the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 48-46 in Thursday's league game.

The Bears now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Mesa Ridge for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Palmer Ridge will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 67-39 league win over Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-2.
