California High School Basketball - Rio Linda holds off Sutter
January 16, 2025: Sutter, CA 95982 The Rio Linda Knights basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Sutter Huskies to 48 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Woodland for a game on Tuesday, January 21. Rio Linda will confront a Wolves team coming off a 53-43 league loss to Natomas (Sacramento, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Sutter falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to confront the Mavericks in a game on Tuesday, January 21. The Mavericks go into the game with a record of 2-12.
