January 16, 2025: Fairfax, VT 05454 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) and the host Bellows Free Academy Bullets (Fairfax, VT), observed Hazen's basketball team overwhelm Bellows Free Academy by a score of 57-23.
The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Winooski (Winooski, VT). The Spartans come into the Mountain challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Winooski trounced Northfield (Northfield, VT), 48-21, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bullets battle the Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT) in a Mountain challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Bellows Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 25-21 non-league loss to Montpelier (Montpelier, VT).
