January 16, 2025: Silver Spring, MD 20901 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD) and the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), observed Blair's basketball team overwhelm Northwood by a margin of 36-5.
The Blazers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Wootton was trounced by Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD), 51-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Northwood will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 51-19 league loss to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD).
