The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers (Cripple Creek, CO) and the visiting Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO), observed Cripple Creek-Victor's basketball team overwhelm Hanover by a score of 44-18.

The Pioneers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Creede (Creede, CO). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Creede trounced Primero (Weston, CO), 52-46, in a non-league challenge.
