The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans (Pueblo West, CO) and the visiting Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO), observed Swallows Charter Academy's basketball team overwhelm Hanover by a score of 60-4.

The Spartans (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Manzanola (Manzanola, CO). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Manzanola was routed by Holly (Holly, CO), 70-11, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Elbert Bulldogs (Elbert, CO) in a 1A Black Forrest challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Hanover will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 47-32 non-league win over Denver Jewish Day (Denver, CO).
