Michigan High School Basketball - University fells Detroit Leadership Academy

January 16, 2025: Ferndale, MI 48220

The University Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Detroit Leadership Academy to 26 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Oak Park for a Oakland - Gold game on Thursday, January 23. University will confront a Knights team coming off a 40-1 non-league loss to Robichaud (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Detroit Leadership Academy falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The travel to Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI) to confront the Shamrocks in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Shamrocks go into the game with a record of 2-5. Eastpointe won 60-39 in their recent non-league game against Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI)
