Maryland High School Basketball - Dunbar succumbs to Poly

In Thursday's league test, the Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD), by a final score of 49-37.

Next, the Engineers clash with the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) in a Independent School test, on Saturday, January 18. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 15-6 record after their 45-41 league loss to Pallotti (Laurel, MD).

The Poets (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD). The Mustangs come into the Baltimore City test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Mergenthaler Vo-Tech went down by Poly (Baltimore, MD), 58-17, in a league test.
