In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Homer Knights basketball team scored a big 63-15 triumph over the Randolph Cardinals.

The Knights (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tri County Northeast (Emerson, NE). The Wolfpack go into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Tri County Northeast was trounced by Stanton (Stanton, NE), 59-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Wausa Vikings (Wausa, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Randolph will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 48-28 non-league win over Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE).
