McArthur Mustangs (Hollywood, FL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Piper Bengals (Sunrise, FL), 38-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, McArthur advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Deerfield Beach (Deerfield Beach, FL) to face the Bucks in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bucks enter the match with a record of 9-6. Deerfield Beach won 58-22 in their recent non-league match against Cooper City (Cooper City, FL)

The Bengals now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Lauderdale for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Piper will face a Flying L's squad coming off a 49-24 non-league win over Taravella (Coral Springs, FL). The Flying L's record now stands at 6-3.
