Western Wildcats (Davie, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host McArthur Mustangs (Hollywood, FL), 56-25 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Western advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-2.

The Mustangs now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plantation for a 5A District 15 match on Monday, January 13. McArthur will face a Colonels squad coming off a 68-7 non-league loss to Nova (Davie, FL). The Colonels record now stands at 2-6.
