Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT), 56-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Sentinels host Bingham (South Jordan, UT) to face the Miners in a 6A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Miners enter the match with a record of 11-5. Bingham lost 53-44 in their recent league match against Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT)

The Silverwolves now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corner Canyon for a 6A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 21. Riverton will face a Chargers squad coming off a 56-38 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 11-5.
