January 16, 2025: Pennsburg, PA 18073 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) and the host Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA), observed Pope John Paul II's basketball team overcome Upper Perkiomen by a margin of 49-31.
The (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Academy Park defeated Interboro (Prospect Park, PA), 59-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Upper Perkiomen will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 33-26 non-league win over Renaissance Academy (Phoenixville, PA).
