January 16, 2025: Ashland, VA 23005 The Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) basketball toppled the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 52-36 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Armstrong for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Patrick Henry will play a Wildcats team coming off a 64-21 non-league loss to Varina (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Mechanicsville falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 20.
