Louisiana High School Soccer - Morris Jeff toppled by St. Charles Catholic
January 16, 2025: LaPlace, LA 70068 St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Morris Jeff Pelicans (New Orleans, LA), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Charles Catholic advances its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Wolves in a Division III District 7 test on Friday, January 17. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 6-9. Livingston Collegiate Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA)
The Pelicans now have a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope John Paul II for a non-league test on Thursday, January 16. Morris Jeff will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 league win over Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-6.
