In Friday's league contest, the host Kennard Tigers basketball team scored a big 74-50 triumph over the Centerville Bulldogs.

The Tigers (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Laneville (Laneville, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Region IV District 27 match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Laneville was overwhelmed by Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX), 57-27, in a league match.
