In Friday's league contest, the host Deep Run Wildcats basketball team scored a close 53-51 win over the Freeman Mavericks.
The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond High School for the Arts (Richmond, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record.
