The Hudson Hornets got by the host Palestine Wildcats basketball team by a tally of 73-69 in Friday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 13-12 record. They play next when they host Madisonville for a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, January 20. Hudson will play a Mustangs team coming off a 100-16 league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Palestine falls to 8-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bullard (Bullard, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, January 20.
