Iowa High School Basketball - Central Lyon overwhelms Sheldon
January 17, 2022: Rock Rapids, IA 51246 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) and the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), saw Central Lyon's basketball squad wallop Sheldon by a tally of 69-37.
With the victory, Central Lyon improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA) to confront the Comets in a Siouxland challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Boyden-Hull won 77-44 in their recent league challenge against George-Little Rock (George, IA)
Next up, the Orabs confront the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 53-49 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA).
