With the victory, Vestavia Hills improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to confront the Huskies in a 7A Area 6 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. Hewitt-Trussville lost 68-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Pinson Valley Indians (Pinson, AL) in a 6A Area 12 challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Mortimer Jordan will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 43-40 non-league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL).
