Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tarpon Springs Spongers (Tarpon Springs, FL), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Anclote upgrades its record to 3-13 on the season. The Sharks travel to Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Wesley Chapel won 89-47 in their recent non-league bout against Freedom (Tampa, FL)

Next up, the Spongers clash with the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Tarpon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 80-33 non-league win over Pinellas Park (Largo, FL).
