California High School Basketball - Anderson winner over Central Valley
January 17, 2023: Anderson, CA 96007 The Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) basketball felled the visiting Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 50-37 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, Anderson upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Cubs host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to clash with the Miners in a Northern bout on Friday, January 20. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Yreka lost 64-56 in their recent league bout against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) in a Northern bout, on Thursday, January 19. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 56-35 league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA).
